We got our letter of acceptance from China. So what is that you say. Well it is the letter we have been waiting for from China asking us to agree to adopt Emma. Of course we checked the box right away and signed it made our several copies and mailed it back to our agency as well as a copy to USCIS and our paperwork for our approval from the United States government. Once they approve us we will receive the Article 5 that our Agency needs in order for us to get our appointment in China and once we have that we will be able to purchase our airline tickets.
We are so excited and feel that our little girl will be home with us soon and can not wait to start the journey that God has in store for us. The problem is that in order to fly to China we need to get our Visas and in order to do that we had to hire an Stork who takes all our paper work to D.C to get our passports stamped. The problem is that we were so excited to be able to send our Visas to someone in Stafford VA. that I jump the gun before I knew all the facts and did not sign the paper work with the post office in order for them to just drop off my package at the storks house. I also forgot to put a return address on the package. Can you believe that. I can't. I also did not put a cashiers check in I wrote a personal check and they wont take that. Oh and then the stork wrote to me and said to lay our passports flat because there has been a problem with passports being stolen. Great that just my luck. I will just pray that Tuesday morning I can get to the post office and they can retrieve my package and I can fix the problems.
I will keep you all updated.
How exciting Renee! I hope you got all done last week that needed to be. I can't wait to see you guys leave for China to bring Emma home. Blessings to you all :-)
